WSIB Launches Compass

WSIB wants to let you know that Compass, their new online health and safety tool, was launched early in October. Compass will provide greater transparency to workplace safety in Ontario, giving people the ability to find the health and safety statistics of any workplace and compare statistics between businesses.

Compass is one more way WSIB is making workplace data open and accessible. Their efforts are aligned to the Province of Ontario’s Open Government Initiative and as such, the WSIB is working to maximize access to data, unless it is exempt for legal, privacy, security, confidentiality, or commercial sensitivity reasons.
