Founded in 1979, DEC offers a complete range of mechanical services, including expertise in buildings systems, district energy, forensic analysis, as well as energy and sustainability. As pioneers in the design of innovative heat exchange systems, DEC optimizes energy and financial efficiencies for public and private sector clients on projects that range from single buildings to large mixed-use communities.

"This acquisition strengthens our Building Engineering practice and enables Pinchin to operate at the forefront of mechanical engineering design. This enhanced expertise will continue to bring value to our clients through the expanded range of services that we provide," says Pinchin CEO Jeff Grossi.

"We are excited by the opportunities offered to our clients and our employees.", says DEC CEO Dale Carter. "Both of our companies share similar values, cultures and commitments to technical quality, project excellence and staff engagement. The expanded and broader pool of talent will enable us to deliver holistic mechanical and building engineering solutions to our clients, improving responsiveness and enhancing the overall client experience."
