TTC Posts Request for Prequalifications

The deadline to submit a pre-qualification submission is July 21, 2016. The TTC intends to pre-qualify General Contractors for a period of three years, which will then have an opportunity to submit bids on individual requirements throughout this period. These request for bids may consist of multi-disciplined or single-disciplined construction projects for transit, industrial and commercial facilities and each request for bid may include but may not be limited to:

- Architectural, Civil and Structural work such as concrete rehabilitation, masonry restoration, thermal and moisture protection, roofing upgrades, architectural finishes and hardware, on-grade or structural paving rehabilitation, building renovation, landscaping improvement, wayfinding and directional signage, earthwork and exterior improvements, utilities relocation, etc.

- Mechanical work such as repair and/or replacement of various heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building automation and controls, plumbing, fire suppression system upgrades, etc.

- Electrical work such as upgrades for transformers, panelboards, motor control centres, uninterruptible power supply, electrical testing, load co-ordination studies, communication systems, public address and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, industrial security systems, gas detection modification, etc.
