League of Champions Grows

At a special event after OGCA’s April 15th Board meeting, we joined with Rob Ellis and George Gritziotis to recognize the latest members of the League of Champions, and recent companies who have achieved CoR.

The event held at the IHSA offices was a great success. 12 OGCA members signed their League of Champion Charter and received their Certificates.

The League continues to grow, and we encourage all OGCA members and construction stakeholders to become part of this great initiative supporting MySafeWork and promoting a "Safety Culture" here in Ontario. (www.theleagueofchampions.com)

Both OGCA Chair Jason Ball and OGCA Safety Chair Craig Lesurf are strong supporters, and you can take a minute to view these videos of them receiving the first two League Charters.

We have committed to making a difference to lead the way in an effort to change the "safety culture" in Ontario. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure safety in all work places, not just the construction industry. We all have a role to play and together we can make a difference.

So join with us today! Become a Champion and help make a difference and remember: wherever you are, no matter your occupation, or if you are just at home or in the neighborhood, if you "See something, Say something!" Let’s make sure everyone comes home safe every day.
