Contractor Evaluation Tool for Real Property Asset Management Construction Projects at the Region of Peel

The Region of Peel is hosting an information session as part of the municipality's ongoing commitment to engage with the vendor community. This session will inform new and potential vendors on the Contractor Evaluation Tool that will be implemented in Real Property Asset Management Construction Projects effective Spring of 2016, and how vendors performing construction projects at the Region will now be evaluated. Vendors will also have an opportunity to speak with staff from Peel Purchasing, Real Asset Property Management and Public Works.

Session Description
In this session you will learn about the second phase of the
Contractor evaluation tool and procedure that was initiated by Public Works Division last year, and is being applied to Real Asset Property Management Construction Projects effective Spring 2016. In addition to the Revised Contractor Evaluation Procedure and Contractor evaluation form being unveiled and being made available to all Contractors on the Region’s website, the following benefits of the Program will be presented:

  • Timely communication and feedback to all Contractors
  • Ability to use the program to recognize well performing Contractors
  • Enhanced transparency, limited subjectivity and consistency of expectations for Contractors on all Regional Construction Projects
