RealtyTrac: New York State February 2015 total foreclosures increase from month- and year-ago levels

In its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for February 2015, RealtyTrac reported that New York State had 4,477 total foreclosures, a 4.16-percent increase from January and a 19.48-percent increase from the same time last year. New York State ranks 25 out of all 50 states in monthly total foreclosure filings. One in every 1,812 housing units in New York State received a foreclosure filing in February.
