July Proves Busy Month on Capitol Hill for Key Legislative Issues

NRMCA’s Government Affairs team had a busy month on Capitol Hill during the lead-up to August recess. On Friday, July 28, the House of Representatives adjourned for its annual August recess. Also, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced in mid-July that the Senate will remain in session for another two weeks to continue its work on repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.
