The NRMCA Operations, Environment and Safety (OES) Department conducted a targeted survey of NRMCA members in late 2014 to gauge regulatory enforcement activity in the industry. NRMCA will use this information to better tailor its actions to address and/or combat such issues, and to keep a finger on the pulse of when, where, how and why regulatory agencies are targeting and/or levying enforcement actions against the industry. This year’s survey shows some interesting trends among the amount of new regulations versus their direct and indirect impact on the industry through enforcement and compliance.
