We have passed legislation that favors concrete. We have defeated many other bills that would have increased barriers to concrete construction. We’ve converted many projects from wood and steel to concrete. We are working with some of the largest developers in the country to change the way they build. We’ve educated thousands of architects, engineers and developers on the benefits of concrete construction. And we’re changing attitudes and perceptions of decision makers through a comprehensive media relations program.
Since its launch in April 2016, the Build with Strength (BWS) initiative has helped bolster concrete’s position in the low and mid-rise building market.
