NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Phil Kresge was a featured presenter at the Hudson Valley ReLeaf 2016 Urban Forestry Workshop. Sponsored by Orange County Planning, Hudson Valley ReLeaf, NYSDEC Urban Forestry, NYS Urban Forestry Council and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Westchester County, the workshop was held at the State University of New York (SUNY) Orange campus in Newburgh.

Kresge’s presentation on Designing and Specifying Pervious Concrete was very well received by the group, which included landscapers, arborists and municipal planners from throughout the lower Hudson Valley region. He particularly focused on the importance of proper specifications, installation and maintenance of pervious concrete pavement. Several of the individuals expressed interest in pursuing utilizing pervious concrete in their streetscape projects.
