NRMCA Seeks Directors of Building Innovations to Join Build with Strength Team

NRMCA is seeking two highly-motivated professionals to join its Build with Strength team of experts to market concrete systems for multi-family residential and commercial construction. The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team of professionals that work directly with prominent developers, architects and engineers to offer innovative and economical concrete building solutions for low- and mid-rise buildings.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Identify key developers who build multi-family residential and non-residential buildings. 

• Work with developers to determine which types of concrete system is best suited for the building type and location.

• Work with the NRMCA architecture and engineering group to develop design proposals for innovative and economical concrete building solutions.

• Identify local contractors who can install concrete systems efficiently and economically.

• Work with architects and engineers to educate them on the best concrete systems to compete with wood and steel framing.

 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or other construction related field;

• Experience in building product sales and business development;

• Experience directly related to commercial and residential building design and/or development; and

• Professional licensure preferred.

 

Other Requirements:

• Significant travel (25%)

• Work from a home office located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix or Denver. Other locations near a major airport may be considered.
