Jointing Plan Assistance Program Delivers Projects and Ensures Customer Satisfaction

Under the Design Assistance Program (DAP), NRMCA provides free concrete parking lot design recommendations intended for designers and specifiers not familiar with concrete parking lots. NRMCA is now offering a new program of particular interest to concrete contractors to help win projects and ensure concrete parking lot customer satisfaction that will assist even experienced contractors. The Jointing Plan Assistance Program (JPAP) provides the jointing plan component of the DAP recommendations to contractors to help them win projects and to deliver a high quality product even with a successful bid already in hand.

This program has been adopted with the knowledge that improper jointing, which can happen on projects placed by experienced contractors, frequently results in customer dissatisfaction even for a structurally sound project. Unhappy customers are likely to speak up on this issue among peers and acquaintances, which puts a damper on future concrete opportunities. DAP and JPAP recommendations significantly increase the likelihood of successful concrete bids, well-designed projects and satisfied customers. These programs are free for NRMCA members and also for State Affiliates and contractors in support of NRMCA members, specifiers and any open-bid projects.
