The 2018 PestWorld 5K Fun Run/Walk was a huge success. We had 101 participants, and we earned $5,168 for the National Girls Collaborative Project!

“On behalf of the more than 36,000 youth-serving STEM organizations represented in the NGCP national network, we would like to thank you for your thoughtful contribution arising from your support at the 2018 annual meeting.  Your generosity helps sustain our commitment to connecting girl-serving STEM organizations with similar groups, community partners, corporations, and higher education. With help from supporters like you, we are able to provide the collaboration support, professional development, curriculum, and helpful evaluation and assessment techniques to programs working to increase girls’ interest in STEM. Your gift is already hard at work, supporting these vital services for girl-serving STEM organizations across the country.” – The National Girls Collaborative Project

Q: Late last fall I was treating a house for bed bugs and after 3 visits, I eliminated the infestation (to the best of my knowledge).  Fast-forward to March and that same house has a new (or recurring) infestation.  The thing is, this is a three-story house in Ohio with a finished attic and the recurrence is in an attic bedroom.  I checked out several of the bugs under a microscope and realized they are actually bat bugs!  I never thought to check originally because the initial infestation was huge and the bugs were only found on the first floor.  What’s going on here and how do I proceed?
