We would like to announce the departure of Andrew Bray from NPMA as he has recently accepted the position of Vice President of Government Affairs with the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).  Please join me in congratulating Andrew on this new and exciting opportunity as we thank him for his hard work and dedication to our industry over the past three years. Andrew’s last day will be Friday, June 29th.

We would also like to announce that Jake Plevelich has been promoted to Director of Public Policy. Jake has been a stalwart in the Public Policy department leading our SPAR program, implementing our grassroots program, supporting the PAC program, drafting and submitting countless federal and state comments and being an integral, thoughtful and fun member of the Public Policy Department.  We know Jake will continue to be a tireless advocate for the industry and we are excited to see him continue to grow professionally.

NPMA has begun a job search as we seek to add a new individual to round out the Public Policy Department ahead of our 2018-19 membership year. We look forward to introducing this new individual to you in the near future.

Please join us again in congratulating Jake and Andrew on their new opportunities and thanking them for their services.

Over 100 top leaders in the structural pest management industry met last week in Phoenix, Arizona for a successful first annual Executive Leadership Forum, sponsored by our Strategic Partners. The group included individuals who serve on the NPMA Board of Directors, PPMA Board of Directors, QualityPro Board of Directors, Pest Management Foundation Board of Trustees, P3 Steering Committee and Super Committee. The Forum allowed us to bring this group of professional leaders together to identify our key priorities that will allow us, as an association, to be in a proactive position to make an impact on the pest management industry. Thank you to all who joined us, we are thrilled to work closely with this group as we lay the groundwork for our year ahead.

We invite you to join us July 26-28 for the 2018 Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina.
