PPMA aims to educate consumers about the diseases and dangers of rodents The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), which serves as the public outreach arm of NPMA, is working to spread consumer awareness about the health and property threats posed by rodents during Rodent Awareness Week, October 22-28, 2017. Now in its fourth year, this annual, weeklong designation is recognized by Chase’s Calendar of Events and is heavily promoted by PPMA in an effort to inform the public about the implications of having a rodent problem and to advocate the importance of hiring a licensed pest control professional to eliminate infestations.
