Spring is just around the corner, which means Forging on the River is almost here! Forging on the River 2018 is March 23 - 25 with a seated dinner and auction Saturday, March 24.

This year we are honored to welcome Pete Hill and Shona Johnson, two of the six partners of P. Johnson & Company located just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland, as our guest demonstrators.

Whether you are a metalsmith or not, there are many ways to participate in Forging on the River 2018.

March 21 - 23, $400
Only 5 seats available!

The pre-conference workshop is led by Pete and Shona and provides an opportunity for participants to work closely with the guest demonstrators and other experienced metalsmiths. The cost of the workshop includes conference registration.

Only 22 seats available!

Registration is now open! But register soon, as seating is limited and early bird pricing ends February 28. Click the link above to register online or call (901) 774-6380. Conference participants will be able to attend a slide lecture, blacksmithing demonstrations and open studio time in the Metal Museum's Smithy.

Friends of Forging on the River supplement conference fees and help present a one-of-a-kind opportunity for participants to learn from and work alongside an internationally recognized blacksmith. In addition, Friends of Forging on the River help ensure that all proceeds from the Dinner + Auction benefit Museum programming throughout the year.

Friends levels start at $250 and include recognition in all print and web materials and tickets to Saturday's Dinner + Auction.

Join us for an evening of festivities along the Mississippi River, complete with a catered dinner by Draper's Catering and an art auction featuring some of the best fine metalwork in the country.
