TEAM Program participants will receive personalized guidance, support, and inspiration by fostering meaningful, transformative connections centered around growth, diversity, and respect

NENA is seeking participants for its 11th NG9-1-1 Industry Collaboration Event (ICE) scheduled to be held on November 1 – 3, 2023. This event will largely repeat and expand upon ICE 10, which focused on NENA i3 Standard for Next Generation 9-1-1, Version 3, and related standards. ICE 11 will include an additional focus on the creation, logging, and conveyance of Emergency Incident Data Object (EIDO) through NextGen Core Services and NG PSAP systems (call handling and CAD).

Charles Cullen, ENP, is the new president of NENA: The 9-1-1 Association. A veteran of 9-1-1 operations in California, Cullen now leads the organization’s more than 20,000 members in advancing NENA’s mission to improve 9-1-1 through research, standards development, training, education, outreach, and advocacy.
In remarks to NENA’s membership at the NENA 2023 Conference and Expo in Grapevine, Texas, Cullen shared his commitment to "...moving Next Generation 9-1-1 forward; seeing telecommunicators reclassified as a protective service occupation; furthering diversity, equity, and inclusion; addressing the 9-1-1 staffing crisis; and helping everyone in our community improve their wellness and resiliency."

The NENA Security for Next Generation 9-1-1 Standard establishes the minimal guidelines and requirements for the protection of NG9-1-1 assets or elements within a changing business environment.
Members of the Working Group may download the document and submit comments by going here and selecting "Add a Comment" from the "Edit" icon drop down options. Please complete all requested data and click "Save," or, if submitting multiple comments, click "Save and Add Another.
If you are providing editorial comments, such as corrections to typos, grammatical errors, style/numbering errors, and incorrect references/links to documents, please document them under one comment and list the page and line number for each. If the correction is within a table, provide the table name and page number of error and specific details of change.
