This October, during Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, the non-profit PulsePoint Foundation is rewarding communities for identifying and registering AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators).
Each AED registered from October 1 through 31 gains you an entry to win one of ten $500 Amazon gift cards. Collectively, the community that registers the most AEDs will be granted $5,000 towards the purchase of new AEDs from PulsePoint to provide to public-safety staff or place in underserved parts of the community.
AEDs must be registered through the free PulsePoint AED app or the online web portal. After verification, those AEDs are then added to the PulsePoint AED Registry to be shared with bystanders and 9-1-1 dispatchers during cardiac emergencies. The globally accessible PulsePoint AED Registry currently includes more than 126,000 AEDs.

Delivering NG9-1-1 calls with location is finally here! Along with that delivery, protecting the PSAP from cyberattacks better be here, too! These are two critical values to extract as we implement NG9-1-1. Join us on October 5th as we unpack these topics and what they mean for your PSAP. You will hear from Motorola Solutions’ Master Teachers – Richard Kelly, Geospatial Solutions, Ira Pyles, NGCS, and Dan Zeiler, NGCS Network Services. Richard and Ira will illustrate how 9-1-1 calls can be delivered with the caller’s location and Dan will address cybersecurity risks with 9-1-1 call routing and best practices to reduce risks.
Can't attend on the 5th? Register now and you will have access to the on-demand webinar archive via the registration landing page.
