NENA’s Next Generation 9-1-1 Industry Collaboration Event (ICE) series provides the opportunity for 9-1-1 equipment and service providers to come together to test products and services in an open, supportive, and collaborative environment. You are invited to participate in the upcoming 9th event in the series.
ICE 9 will focus on the required security mechanisms associated with the delivery of a 9-1-1 call to a PSAP as defined within the latest version of NENA-STA-010. All core functional elements have a role to play in the security of a well-designed NG9-1-1 system and each will be tested to the extent possible during the event. End-to-end voice and multimedia call and session interoperability test scenarios shall be used to test the following elements:
If time permits, and the Planning Committee agrees, the following items could also be tested:
NENA invites all interested vendors and entities that have a stake in improving 9-1-1 and emergency services access to participate in ICE 9. The entire NG9-1-1 vendor community should consider participating in this event and in the activities of the ICE 9 Planning Committee. If you would like to participate in ICE 9, please contact Delaine Arnold.
The ICE team will be holding its kick-off meeting on 07.13.18 at 12PM Eastern to begin planning a tentative spring 2019 event. Additional Information can be found here.
