This past year we've certified a record number of new ENPs – 9-1-1 professionals from the public- and private-sectors who are committed to excellence in the industry and are the leaders of today and tomorrow. Becoming an ENP demonstrates your knowledge of 9-1-1, helps you grow in your career, and expands your professional network. If you meet the eligibility requirements, then start planning to sit for the ENP exam; the fall testing period is October 5-19, with the application window closing on September 6. Need some help getting ready? A study group, reference manual, and/or practice test can help you along your path to certification!

Association Business
On August 13, the NENA Board traveled to APCO's annual conference in Baltimore, MD and met with the APCO Board to discuss a number of matters that involve both organizations and affect our respective members. While there is considerable work to be done, NENA looks forward to opportunities for productive conversations between the two organizations. We hope a continued dialogue can help solve the important issues facing the 9-1-1 community.
