On the May 15, edition of HBO's Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, the host spent more than fifteen minutes covering issues facing the 9-1-1 system. NENA’s team spent upwards of 4 hours on the phone with LWT researchers, and provided links to materials on our website and others’. In the end, while it does put a satirical spin on things, we think the result is a very balanced look at the problems facing 9-1-1, from fee raids to outdated technology.
