National 911 Program Presents NG9-1-1 Webinar on March 27

Thursday, March 27 | 12PM-1PM Eastern

This webinar will feature an overview of the Regional Emergency Communications Coordination Working Groups (RECCWGs) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), a presentation from the Coordinator of the National 911 Program, and open Q&A sessions.

Brian Carney, Communications Integration Branch Chief/National RECCWG Coordinator, FEMA Disaster Emergency Communications (DEC) Division, will present on opportunities for the 9-1-1 community to leverage the RECCWG for regional resources and information sharing. An open Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Also presenting and available for questions, will be Laurie Flaherty, Coordinator of the National 911 Program, who will present a video on the benefits of NG9-1-1. Following the video, Laurie will highlight other recently released products and programs, including the National Conference of State Legislators’ (NCSL) summary of 2013 enacted 9-1-1 legislation, and release of the most recent version of "NG911 Standards Identification and Review."
