Senate Hearing Archive: Locating 9-1-1 Callers in a Wireless World

On Jan.16, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet held a hearing titled, "Locating 9-1-1 Callers in a Wireless World." The hearing focused on the unique location accuracy issues associated with calling 9-1-1 from wireless phones and included testimony by NENA's Government Affairs Director Trey Forgety.
