Next Generation 9-1-1 Institute Elects New Board of Directors

The Next Generation 9-1-1 Institute (NG9-1-1 Institute) has announced the results of its 2013 election for the six open seats on the organization’s Board of Directors. These professionals provide expertise, guidance, and their time as they work together to further the advancement of public safety communications and support the Congressional NextGen 9-1-1 Caucus.
The NG9-1-1 Institute membership elected the following six individuals to the Board of Directors:
- Alisa Simmons of Fort Worth, TX; representing the Education Professional position;
- Judith Weshinskey-Price of Amarillo, TX; representing the Member at Large position;
- Mark Spross of Oregon City, OR; representing the Member at Large-Public Safety position;
- Mehran Nazari of Great Falls, VA; representing the Small Telecommunications Carrier position;
- Tim Lorello of Annapolis, MD; representing the Vendor/Integrator/Software position; and
- Todd Piett of Framingham, MA; representing the Vendor/Integrator/Software position.
