Critical Issues Forum Update: Full Session Details Now Available

Discuss the big-picture questions surrounding training requirements and contribute to ongoing national efforts to develop baseline and continuing education standards for 9-1-1 professionals.

Goal:
Attendees can expect to participate in an open discussion regarding the development of a universally accepted National Minimum Training Standard for Telecommunicators.
 
Objectives: 1) Identify modes and means to elicit buy-in and feedback from stakeholders; 2) Establish a recommended base framework for a National Training Floor for Telecommunicators, based upon core competencies and current training models; 3) Develop an Action Plan for national adoption

Learn how call information can be collected and analyzed to enable more effective and efficient 9-1-1 systems and provide guidance on NENA activities in support of developing data collection and sharing models for all stakeholders.

Goal: To develop one or more Use Cases and strategies for utilization of data analytics in 9-1-1.
 
Objectives: 1) Define and characterize data analytics as a methodology, and how it can be useful in 9-1-1 operations; 2) Identify key actors and environments for utilization of data analytics; 3) Identify gaps and policies to be addressed; 4) Define Use Cases and Action Plans
