Is your 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center ready to respond to a missing, abducted, or sexually exploited child call? There is a national standard for 9-1-1 best practices for these calls, established in collaboration between the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NENA, NAED, APCO, and Amber Alert. Through this program, thousands of public safety professionals have attended online and classroom training. More than 60 agencies have adopted best practices for calls pertaining to missing, abducted, and sexually exploited children in their polices and training protocols. Free training and resources are available to your agency so that you will be prepared for this type of call.

If you have not participated in any of the free training made available, we would like to hear from you through this very short survey. Email 911@ncmec.org with questions.
