NG9-1-1 Institute Accepting Nominations for 2012 9-1-1 Honor Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 9-1-1 Honor Awards to honor heroes and leaders in 9-1-1. The awards ceremony will take place at the 9-1-1 Honors Gala on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Washington, D.C. The co-chairs of the Congressional NG9-1-1 Caucus have been invited to present the awards.
The Institute requests your help in identifying the heroes and leaders who should be honored in March. Heroism and leadership activities throughout 2011 will be considered for the awards. The award categories are:
- 9-1-1 Professional
- Citizen in Action / First Responder
- Government Leader
- Industry / Technology Private Sector
- Outstanding 9-1-1 Call Center / Program
- 9-1-1 Education
Full details and the nomination form can be found at the NG9-1-1 Institute website. You DO NOT need to be a member of the NG91-1 Institute to submit a nomination or receive an award. All nominations must be received by Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
