The I&E Experience

NAFA will hold a unique panel of top automobile executives who will address significant technological changes within the industry. The presentation, How OEMs are Addressing Mobility and the Future of Fleet, will occur at NAFA’s annual I&E conference in Anaheim, Calif. This year, fleet professionals are invited to submit questions directly to NAFA for possible inclusion in the panel.

On Wednesday morning, April 25, the Law Enforcement New Product Showcase will be, for the first time, an exclusive breakfast event for LEG fleet and mobility professionals. OEM representatives will be on hand to preview the latest technologies, as well as answer your questions.

Enhance your 2018 I&E experience by learning how to navigate the challenging needs of managing crises. Attend NAFA’s pre-conference event, Are You Really Ready? The Critical Role of Fleets Before, During, and Post-Disaster, taking place on Monday, April 23. With fires raging in California and Western Canada and hurricanes and torrential floods hitting the southern United States, the past year has been epic in generating lessons learned from fleet preparation through execution to post-event.

Taking place on April 24, this insightful session will help you learn how to make sense out of terms, conditions, provisions, disclaimers, and exclusions; understand how lease and service agreement terms and conditions impact your organization; and design benchmarking performance terms and conditions for fleet contracts and service level agreements.

This essential session, taking place on Thursday, April 26, at I&E will teach you advanced planning and specifications review as the first steps in the fleet supply chain. Learn how to manage multiple vendors for the successful completion and delivery of vehicles on time and within budget, as well as how an integrated parts-sourcing strategy can contain costs throughout the vehicle's lifecycle, and how strategic remarketing practices can maximize returns.

If you've been thinking about working towards your CAFM® or CAFS® designation, but are still on the fence about doing so, you're in luck! If you are attending the I&E this April 24-27, you will have the chance to take the program for a test drive! There's never been a better time to become CAFM- or CAFS-certified!

An annual highlight of I&E, the Chapter Appreciation Luncheon, returns on Tuesday, April 24! New for 2018, be a part of the Rise Against Hunger Charity Event, sponsored by the NAFA Foundation. The luncheon will also include the presentation of NAFA's Outstanding Chapter Service Awards, celebrating two individuals who exemplified the qualities of being a dynamic NAFA Chapter member and volunteer.

Mingle, discuss, learn, and share at NAFA's Block Party, Wednesday evening at I&E at the Anaheim Convention Center Grand Plaza. NAFA makes it easy to strike up conversations with established thought leaders and fleet peers alike.

NAFA’s I&E brings many fleet leaders and vendors together from around the world. With that volume of travelers, third-party lodging companies, some of which have proven to be scammers, take notice and begin soliciting potential attendees for lodging and travel services. NAFA does not work with or authorize any organizations to use the NAFA or I&E names and logos to solicit attendees for lodging and cautions attendees to be diligent, through several tips.
