During Tuesday's Chapter Appreciation Luncheon, NAFA Foundation President Claude Masters, CAFM®, spoke about the ambitious goals that the Foundation has set in the very near future. To achieve these goals, a text-to-donate funding process has been developed.

Masters said,  "If you have a stake in the mobility game, I’m asking that you consider making a donation to the NAFA Foundation. Text the word 'NAFA' to (855) 912-7003 and you will receive instructions on how to make a secure donation."

Inspired by these developments, Element Fleet Management is offering a limited-time challenge where it will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000 until the end of next Friday, May 4.

"We attended the session yesterday at lunch where there was communication about what the NAFA Foundation was going to focus on in 2018," said Mary Sticha, CAFM®, Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence for Element Fleet Management. "We were particularly interested in the mobility study they want to do. We felt this was something that Element should invest in, and get other people and organizations to invest in."

By doing the challenege, Sticha said that Element thought that not only could raising these funds be fun, but the money would go farther through the match process.

"The NAFA Foundation is now revitalized and much more aligned with the Association," Sticha added, "and we feel whatever funding we can invest in the Foundation will be reinvested back into the industry. By putting seed money into this effort, we believe it will help the Foundation build faster and deliver on its goals."

This dollar-for-dollar matching period is only for a limited time. Text the word "NAFA" to (855) 912-7003, to make a secure donation today, and double your investment in the future of the fleet and mobility profession.
