Joining the LonMark Board representing members in the Asia/Pacific region is Deepak Chandran with Devtech M2M. Deepak Chandran is an industry veteran with a strong techno commercial background and has been responsible for directing and leading the complete initiative in having DEVTECH M2M PTE LTD products LonMark certified. He is also spearheading the initiative for the company to produce world class LonMark certified products for the world market for various industry segments.

The LonMark Magazine offers members the opportunity to contribute product or company news, authored articles and case studies. Published once a year and copies distributed at key industry events including AHR Expo and Light+Building, the magazine is a great vehicle for the industry to stay up-to-date on the latest LonMark products and services to hit the market. This year the LonMark Magazine will be available to readers in a fully interactive digital version.

If interested in submitting content for the 2016 issue please submit a 200- 500 word abstract by Sept. 21st to Shannon@lonmark.org. All submissions will be reviewed by the editorial committee. If accepted, completed articles will be due in mid-November.

Light + Building 2016 (13-18 March 2016) is the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology.

LonMark International will continue its presence at Light+Building 2016 by exhibiting in the Urban Lighting section located in Hall 5 of Messe Frankfurt. At Light+Building 2014 eleven members of LonMark International demonstrated an open Outdoor Control Solution to over 500 hundred potential customers. The demonstration showed LonMark certified products from several competing companies connected together in the same streetlight network. Because of the overwhelming feedback from member companies exhibiting in the stand, LonMark International is pursuing a similar stand and demonstration at Light+Building 2016. LonMark Germany will also exhibit at the show and will premiere a joint presence of two leading standards for building automation: LON and BACnet and their organizations LONMARK and BIG-EU. This will be the first time the two standards will be presenting together at a trade show.

With this joint activity LonMark and BIG-EU will continue to be the point of contact for their respective members, however through synergy they will generate more presentation opportunities together.

DEVTECH M2M participated in the LumiBat, EuroExpo, located in Lyon, France from June 2nd-4th, 2015.

DEVTECH M2M had a high profile presence at the show in an area where a large number of visitors gathered. DEVTECH M2M displayed a variety of product, such as dimmable electronic HID ballass, lighting control gears, addressable electronic ballast, surge protection devices, network couplers, and iStreet.Network software and gateways. Visitors from France, Morocco, Spain and Germany visited theDEVTECH M2M stand. The three day fair attracted attention from various players covering all segments of electricity namely hardware, LEDs, controls, software interface, smart city projects, ESCOs, consultants, start-ups and governments.
