Technical Update: New Technical Director

Mike Gibson is the President of Pi Shaped Incorporated, a company providing engineering, marketing and training services to the device connectivity marketplace. Mike has extensive experience in product implementation, standards development and training. Prior he spent 20 years with the Echelon Corporation holding several North American and international positions in marketing and sales. Since the founding of LonMark International, Mike has been a strong supporter, frequently representing the organization as a public speaker at conferences and tradeshows. Also, working to advance the LonMark brand as standards organization committee member, profile developer, and specification author, Mike has supported the successful adoption of LonMark products and standards in organizations such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ASHRAE, IEEE, NIST, ISA, and others. Mike has been certified by Echelon to deliver all the LonWorks training courses.
