A Most Sincere Thank You

Dear KCMPI Board, Members, Auction Donors and Supporters:

There is no way that mere words or a simple "thank you" could ever suffice. To say that we are unbelievably appreciative and deeply touched are colossal understatements.

We want to take this opportunity to again thank everyone involved in the recent Kansas City MPI silent auction. The money that was raised to partly benefit our daughter, Kennedy, in her fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is amazing and will most definitely help both her and our family on so many levels. Whether you were an event organizer, a donor, or simply enjoyed the fun of bidding online ... we thank you.

We were proud to help generate donations and bids from members of #KennedysKrew to ensure that this year’s auction, being the first with a charitable beneficiary, was an unprecedented success. We truly look forward to supporting future auctions and events with similar components in an way that we can. You should be commended for your vision, efforts, generosity and caring hearts.

The financial impact of your generosity is substantial and helpful beyond measure. But the positive emotional impact is far deeper impacting that you will likely ever know. Even in the face of Kennedy’s adversity and struggle, our faith in the kindness of our network of friends, family, and colleagues is stronger than ever before. We look forward to the day when we get to reflect back on this time and share with our daughters the selflessness and generosity of so many. It will forever serve as a humbling reminder to us how beneficial the giving of our time and resources can be.

We cannot thank you enough for your time, energy, generosity, kind words, hugs and prayers. There is no question that it makes this fight and journey much easier. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

God Bless,

The Holcumbrinks
