Have you ever wanted to know how to put together a locally grown menu for your events?
Do you know how to select items that are in season?
Do you know what products are grown locally?
Join us on Thursday, October 14 at 10:30am in the Cooking Studio at Whole Foods Market for a hands-on experience where we will learn about sustainability in the food world.
Whole Foods Market is the first Nationally Certified Organic Grocer featuring foods free from artificial colors, flavors and preservatives.  They have abundant experience with local, sustainable products and are going to share that knowledge with you!  A presentation about natural and organic foods will be incorporated into the chef’s presentation while she prepares the menu made from seasonal, locally grown items right before your eyes.  You will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty while assisting in the preparation of a portion of the meal.  There’s a neat story behind just about every item and ingredient sold at Whole Foods.

This is a meeting that you won’t want to miss!

Registration opens at 10:30am
Lunch Presentation begins at 11:00am
