KCMPI Member Company Named in Top 10! by Danielle Jodts

Bishop-McCann has exciting news! It was recently named "one of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's 2010 Top 10 Small Businesses of the Year!" This award was based on these three criteria:
  • Business Growth and/or Sustainability - We have to have exhibited revenue or employment growth or sustainability as appropriate to industry and current economic conditions.
  • Employee Relations - We have to strive to provide competitive employment benefits, recruit and maintain a diverse workforce and establish a culture that values the business and community.
  • Community Service - We need to be a company involved in community service at all levels, including the giving of our time and financial resources.
In April, the KC Chamber judges will be doing site visits to each of the ten companies. Of the ten, they will choose one company for the "Mr. K Award." Ewing "Mr. K" Kauffman is KC's most admired entrepreneur and community giver.
