The weather may have been cold, but Jan. 17 was a great day to get out and mingle with fellow KCMPI members at Dave & Buster's. The informational and entertaining program was presented by Paula A. Sassi, a certified Master Graphologist, who has worked professionally in the field of handwriting analysis since 1980. Her presentation explained the principles of graphology plus the science of handwriting analysis,identified the attendees personality types and illustrated how this knowledge can be used in the workplace to increase productivity and compatibility among team members. Everyone left with more than a few ideas on how to implement Paula's techniques in their everyday lives.

Prior to the program, attendees took advantage of a prime opportunity to tour one of Kansas City's most unique and exciting lodging and meeting venues. Chateau Avalon opened its doors and welcomed KCMPI members to see some of the elaborately themed suites that make its property stand out, such as the Tahitian Tree House, Venetian Palace and Camelot's Castle. The next time you are searching for that special place to hold an event or just spend a night away from home, consider Chateau Avalon and make it memorable.

After Paula's presentation, Dave & Buster's treated us to a fantastic appetizer and dessert buffet. If you haven't tasted its baked artichoke and parmesan dip or its raspberry chocolate parfait, you are missing out! I suggest booking an event immediately just to take advantage of the food. During the reception, most of the attendees took advantage of Paula's talent and received personalized handwriting interpretations, while others chose to play some of the fantastic games that Dave & Buster's is known for with the VIP chip cards that were provided as a bonus by our gracious sponsor.
