The ISTAT Foundation was founded in 1994 to provide funds for scholarships, educational programs and grants to qualified individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism.

 

Funding for ISTAT Foundation programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies. The ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees is responsible for fundraising and the selection of programs that meet the Foundation's objectives.
