Boeing Capital Appoints Customer Finance and Asset Management Leaders

Boeing Capital Corporation has named Jordan Weltman vice president and global head of Customer Finance, and Thomas Hansen vice president of Asset Management. Boeing Capital Corporation is a wholly-owned Boeing [NYSE: BA] subsidiary that is primarily responsible for arranging, structuring and providing financing for Boeing’s commercial airplane, space and defense products.

Weltman will lead a team of aircraft financing professionals to support the sale of Boeing commercial airplanes, working closely with airlines and financiers to ensure Boeing customers have the financing they need to buy and take delivery of their Boeing products. Weltman was previously vice president and senior managing director of Europe, Russia & Central Asia for Boeing Capital.

Hansen will lead the team responsible for the management of portfolio aircraft for Boeing Capital and Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Previously, Hansen was managing director for Asset Management where he was responsible for managing Boeing Capital’s technical department and its remarketing activities for the portfolio aircraft, including aircraft transitions, modifications, configurations and monitoring technical status and aircraft compliance with various regulations and commercial agreements.

Weltman and Hansen will report to Tim Myers, president of Boeing Capital Corporation. Both appointments are effective immediately.
