MAINtag Adds New Vice President of Sales for EMEA

MAINtag, now celebrating the company’s 10-year anniversary as a global leader in innovative RFID aerospace solutions, welcomes David Read as the company’s new Vice President of Sales for EMEA.

In his new position, Read will reinforce MAINtag’s success with the company’s patented hybrid RFID Integrated label solution as well as the deployment of the ATA UHF high-memory FLYchip® for aircraft manufacturers and OEM partners.

David Read’s experience includes more than 20 years working with RFID suppliers. He is an established industry speaker on RFID applications focused on aerospace, automotive and supply chain sectors. He has developed global channel RFID solutions for asset management and logistics solutions, from strategy to execution, training to support.

Prior to MAINtag, Read served as director for business development/Europe for Xerafy where he assisted in the development of Xerafy’s European partner program. He also worked with Intellident, the UK provider of RFID-based solutions, as divisional manager/retail, logistics, industrial and mobile; and with Pan-European, handling commercial activities for direct sales in supply chain & logistics, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and automotive. Read’s other previous work includes positions with RFID provider Transtar (Formerly KTP), Logica and AT&T Istel. Along with management roles in automotive and aerospace for Lucas Aerospace, Read has a unique background in development of information systems, strategies and implementation of enterprise applications for industrial and commercial clients.
