Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting gamers through free apps, according to a recent report by Rubica.
Children 12 and under are especially susceptible, as they are less accustomed to aggressive advertising, and may be coerced into visiting non-secure sites or downloading age-inappropriate apps.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has officially released its customized, classified reverse engineering software tool, GHIDRA version 9.0. Notably, this Java-based framework, which detects security bugs in various applications and software, is available free of charge.

The second Mobile Security Index study conducted by Verizon shows that more companies are prioritizing getting their work done over strong mobile security. Approximately 48 percent of those surveyed said their companies were sacrificing mobile security, which in turn made them almost twice as likely to experience a major compromise in their mobile assets.
