Illinois Park and Recreation
NEWS YOU CAN USE
How? Through a tax deductible donation to the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation. The endowment is housed within the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation, and only the interest earned can be used to support IPRA member’s educational needs. The principal will remain intact to ensure that the funds donated by individuals like you will be used to help build the future of parks and recreation professionals throughout the state of Illinois for years to come.
Click here for more information, and to make an online donation.
Applications must be submitted online at www.ILipra.org along with a $25 application fee. Once the application is completed your agency will receive a link via email to a survey consisting of 52 questions. The Health and Wellness Committee will review and tally your responses and contact you if there is a need for additional documentation. Agencies meeting the criteria will receive the Exceptional Workplace Award during the IPRA Annual Business Meeting held on Friday, January 25 at 5:00 pm. Winning agencies will be notified prior to conference.
Questions regarding the Exceptional Workplace Award and the work of the Health and Wellness Committee can be directed to Lori Neubauer, Fitness Manager, Itasca Park District at lneubauer@itascaparkdistrict.com.
