Why High School Students Should Study Abroad

In a blog post in the Huffington Post, Patrick Stephenson, former speechwriter for the NATO Secretary General, advocates for making study abroad more accessible to high school students. He discusses the merits of studying abroad in high school and learning a foreign language as well as the advantages that students receive as a result of having this experience. "[Studying abroad] doesn’t just make you smarter. It opens your mind," states Stephenson.
