Teach With Africa: Global Teachers Institute Fellowship or Faculty-in-Residence Program

Teach With Africa seeks to recruit highly qualified and motivated teachers to participate in our Global Teachers Institute Fellowship or Faculty-in-Residence program in South Africa for the summer of 2015. We typically recruit for certified teachers with four years or more of classroom experience. Ideally, TWA Fellows will have expertise in one or more of our focus areas:
Teach With Africa seeks to recruit highly qualified and motivated teachers to participate in our Global Teachers Institute Fellowship or Faculty-in-Residence program in South Africa for the summer of 2015. We typically recruit for certified teachers with four years or more of classroom experience. Ideally, TWA Fellows will have expertise in one or more of our focus areas:
- Understanding by design/Design thinking
- Backwards planning
- Differentiated learning strategies in different subjects
- Blended learning
- On-going assessments
- Leadership
Teach With Africa offers 3 program tracks:
- Teacher Training Fellowship: July 6 - August 1, 2015; 4 years minimum teaching experience & able to present PD workshops; $1750 co-funding commitment
- Teacher Training Faculty-in-Residence: July 6 - 18, 2015; master teachers (7+ years experience) with specific teacher training/ PD experience; $1750 co-funding commitment
- EdTech Summit International Presenter Team: August 3 - 22, 2015 (TBC); hands-on educators who actively & creatively use technology in the classroom; co-funding TBC
