IIE thanks the 1000 teachers who have joined the Generation Study Abroad campaign for their help in planting the seed of study abroad well before students reach college.

Teachers are powerful motivators when it comes to encouraging students to pursue any and all types of global study. Eric Northard, who teaches Geography and World History at Grand Rapids High School, is one example of the outstanding work that is being done to bring global awareness into the classroom. He is one of 50 teachers across the United States who received the IIE AIFS Foundation Generation Study Abroad Enrichment Grant for his contributions. Read more stories here.
