Student Ambassador Programs Expand Study Abroad

What would your life be like if you had never studied abroad? Now, think of how different someone else’s life would be if you could just convince them to go abroad, too. Study Abroad Alumni share our passion for international education and can be powerful change makers in the lives of students. A number of Generation Study Abroad Commitment Partners have launched new Ambassador Programs and are currently seeking participants to encourage their peers to #GoStudyAbroad.

Diversity Abroad Announces New Overseas Ambassador Program
Application Deadline: June 1, 2016 at 5:00pm EST | Learn More
The Overseas Ambassador Program is a brand new initiative created for currently enrolled college and university students going abroad to study, intern or volunteer, as well as recent grads working or teaching abroad. For the duration of their time abroad, Overseas Ambassadors will serve as a voice for their peers to the Diversity Abroad audience. By writing insightful articles about their new surroundings, cross-cultural observations and personal growth, their words will inspire other diverse students to go abroad and challenge them to rethink how global experiences can be for everyone. Economically disadvantaged students, first-generation, students with disabilities and ethnic and racially diverse students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Study in Spain 2016 Student Ambassadors Program
The program aims to strengthen relations and the image of Spain in higher learning institutions in the United States. This is achieved through various promotional activities being conducted by the Study in Spain Student Ambassadors in their universities, directed towards promoting Spain as a destination for study abroad programs. Share your alumni outreach and ambassador programming with the Generation Study Abroad team on the Commitment Partner LinkedIn page. We’d love to hear your creative ideas for alumni engagement!
