CIEE Opens Doors with Generation Study Abroad Student Scholarships, Passports, and Faculty Grants

The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) reported significant progress toward its Generation Study Abroad pledge to increase study abroad opportunities for students from all academic majors and from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Since January 2015, CIEE has awarded $5,965,000 in scholarships and financial aid; reinvented study abroad with the launch of the CIEE Global Institutes in Berlin, London, and Rome; increased short-term program options to 301 sessions available during January, May, and three summer sessions; and more—all with the goal to make study abroad accessible to more U.S. students.
