Application Deadline: March 25, 2015 | Contact

IIE has been invited to nominate five candidates for the Chinese Government Scholarships under the umbrella of Generation Study Abroad to support one year or more of study in a Chinese university. The award provides full tuition and room/board at designated universities in China, along with in-country travel and other incidentals, but not including international airfare. Candidates may apply for a year of general studies and/or Chinese language study, or for a 2-3 year Master’s Degree (taught in English or Chinese), plus 1-2 years of prior language preparation if your Mandarin is not sufficient to pursue a Master’s degree taught in Chinese.

Final scholarship decisions will be made by the China Scholarship Council in consultation with the host universities in China, with decisions announced by the end of July. IIE will inform applicants by early to mid-April if they are among IIE's five recommended nominees.

Interested students should contact Alyssa Yeng, ayeng@iie.org, as soon as possible for application details and specific instructions.
