New IIENetworker Magazine: Faculty-Driven Internationalization

IIE is pleased to announce the Spring 2016 edition of the IIENetworker magazine, "Faculty-Driven Internationalization," now available as a free interactive flip book. We have focused this entire issue on the many ways faculty can and are championing internationalization efforts, with a variety of perspectives from faculty, administrators, and other professionals.

This month we highlight the article titled Faculty-Led Internationalization: Challenges, Opportunities, and Strategic Approaches. Special guest editor María de los Ángeles Crummett talks about how to support and cultivate a globally minded faculty. She shares about the breadth of Fulbright Scholar opportunities and how institutions can make effective use of them to ensure deep and long-lasting internationalization outcomes. "For many students, their first steps in considering an education abroad program begin in the classroom," writes Crummett.
