Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program: Opportunities in Europe and Eurasia


The core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program in Europe and Eurasia offers diverse opportunities for U.S. faculty, researchers and professionals to reside for an extended period in the region’s 45 participating countries through educational and cultural exchange. With over 270 award offerings and close to 400 grants funded annually, Europe and Eurasia is the largest regional program within the Fulbright Scholar Program. Applicants can propose to teach and/or conduct collaborative research at some of the best universities/research institutions in the world. Grantees to Europe and Eurasia contribute to the rapidly changing global landscape of higher education, while at the same time, gain a deep understanding of societies and cultures in the host countries.
