The Global Young Academy (GYA) provides a rallying point for outstanding young scientists from around the world to come together to address topics of global importance. The call for GYA membership from 2014 is open and running until September 29, 2013. GYA is looking for young, independent researchers who are passionate about their research area and excited to contribute to a

global community of young scientists. Applicants from the field of social science and humanities are especially welcome to apply.
