Qatar Foundation's WISE Learners' Voice: Call for Nomination

Nomination Deadline: June 25, 2013

The Qatar Foundation's WISE Learners’ Voice brings the views of students to the issue of rethinking education. The Program builds their communication, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to ensure that decision-makers hear their all-important voice, and that they are prepared to take on leading roles in their field and the education world.

In 2013, 30 outstanding young people aged 18 to 25 will be joining the WISE Learners’ network. The Call for Nominations and Applications will be open until June 25, 2013, 18.00 GMT.

The current Learners’ Voice community consists of 78 Learners who were recruited in 2010, 2011 and 2012. They are from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, and from all around the world. They share a passion for education, and together they represent the unique perspective of the learning community in WISE.

The 2012 Learners, who played an active role in last year’s Summit, are currently taking part in a year-long Executive Education Program that combines online sessions, theoretical lectures, practical workshops and project-based work. They are also making their voice heard at a number of international conferences and will present their work at the 2013 WISE Summit.
